It takes a lot of hands to make a small community arts organization run! We have a friendly community of volunteers and a variety of tasks to be done.

Here are ways to volunteer:

  • Apply for one of the volunteer positions listed below

  • Fill out our general volunteer interest form here to be added to our volunteer mailing list.

  • Come by during office hours on Wednesdays, 12 to 1, or write to hello@artforallconcord.org to arrange a time to come by

  • Write directly to Margot at margot@artforallconcord.org.

If you would like to really jump in and help run the studio, or you want to run workshops to make money, consider joining our nascent collective. Contact Margot for that as well.

How would you like to help?

  • Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week

    What You’ll Do: Help us keep our website fresh and exciting! We’re looking for someone to assist with the ongoing maintenance of our website. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Keep Things Current: Add new events/workshops and update the homepage to reflect what’s happening at Art for All.

    • Showcase Stories: Help post new blog entries and update our existing ones.

    • Tidy Up the Site: Make any other changes needed to keep our online space looking great.

    • Master SquareSpace: Dive into SquareSpace to become our go-to expert, making sure we’re using the platform to its fullest potential and keeping everything running smoothly

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Detail-oriented 

    • Ability to work independently

    • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to keeping our digital presence up-to-date

    Nice to have:

    • Comfortable working with website tools (like SquareSpace).

    • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus, but definitely not required!

  • Position Overview: We are seeking someone who is skilled, has experience, or is looking to gain experience in Google Workspace, to volunteer with our art nonprofit. In this role, you will ensure that our organization is fully utilizing Google Workspace and all its functionalities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Meet monthly with the Executive Director, Margot Kimball, to review questions and make necessary adjustments in Google Workspace.

    • Ensure our nonprofit is correctly represented on Google, optimizing our presence and taking advantage of all available features.

    • Provide guidance on best practices and improvements to enhance our organization's efficiency and effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Google tools. OR, is very interested in building these skills.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

    Time Commitment:

    • Approximately 2-4 hours per month, with flexible scheduling for monthly meetings.

  • Take photos and videos at AfA events for our marketing maven. Make content as well if you have a knack for social media, reels etc.

  • We would like to find one or two more people to lead or assist at workshops for people with cognitive disabilities.

    Qualifications:

    If leading a wokshop, you would need to have some experience teaching art activities to groups. Contact Laurie@artforallconcord.org if interested

    Time Commitment: 1 to 3 hours a week depending on what you sign up for

  • Do you enjoy organizing data and working out systems to make an organization run? We would love your help? Join our small, friendly office team. Ability to make spreadsheets and to use or learn how to use Google Workspace would be important.

  • We always seem to have a small carpentry job, such as building or fixing shelves.
